Advanced Studies Workshop in
Computational Biology
Biology research increasingly benefits from computational analysis of large and complex data sets, particularly the development of techniques for discovering and describing patterns in those data with simulation and AI models. With the goal of fostering these skills in the next generation of trainees, we introduce the CompBio Asia—Advanced Studies Workshops (ASW).
This one-week workshop consists of integrated lectures, hands-on training, and small-group projects. The workshop features lecturers from across the globe with expertise in disciplines spanning artificial intelligence, genomics, proteomics, structural biology, and molecular dynamics.

About us
CompBio Australia
CompBio Asia and CompBio Australia are part of an international initiative dedicated to advancing computational biology through Advanced Interdisciplinary Study Workshops (ASWs).
Since its inception, the initiative has hosted ASWs at leading institutions, including the National Science and Technology Development Agency of Thailand (NSTDA) in 2022, the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2023, and Kasetsart University in Bangkok in 2025.
